Beginner Class
The perfect first step for kids who have never fenced. Through games, footwork drills and safe partner practice, your child learns the basic moves and rules of sabre fencing. Along the way they build coordination, balance, strength and focus. No experience or equipment needed for the first class.
*Ages 11 and under who are new to fencing.
Intermediate Class
Two groups train together here. Fencers 11 and under join when their coach invites them from the Beginner class, once they're ready to start competing. Fencers 12 and up who aren't competing yet, including complete beginners, train here. Training goes deeper into technique and tactics, with speed and endurance work to prepare for tournaments.
Advanced Class
For fencers 12 and up who compete at the local, national or international level. Training focuses on tactics, speed and bouting at a competition pace, and the program supports teens aiming to fence in college.
*Note, all classes are Sabre.
This program is for kids ages 17 and under who can train at a competition level
Private Lessons
Private lessons are offered to fencers of all ages and skill levels. Moreover, these are one-on-one, fencing lessons taught by one of our premier coaches. Lessons are by appointment and can be scheduled through email or phone at 203-807-5864
