What age can my child start fencing?

We teach kids and teens ages 6 to 16. Children 6–11 start in our Youth Beginner class, and fencers 12 and up join the Intermediate class at any experience level.
Does my child need any experience?

No. Most of our students had never held a sabre before their first class. Coaches start with footwork, games and basic moves, and place each child with kids at a similar level.
How does the free trial class work?

Fill out the free trial form, select the class & time that works for your child and then select a day to come in. Once we have that you’ll receive a confirmation email from us. After the trial, the coach will tell you which class fits your child best.
What should my child wear to the first class?

Which class is right for my child?
Comfortable athletic clothes, long pants or leggings, clean sneakers and a water bottle. We provide all the protective equipment for the trial.
